Hello! I'm Travis, founder of The HarMac. As the owner of Unique Events for over 20 years (and now the HarMac), I have an extensive knowledge of events in general, as well the knowledge of what it takes to offer an amazing venue with feature that couples are looking for...and a few that you didn't know you needed! I foster dogs along with my wife Alison and just sent my only daughter off to college. If you take a tour, there is an excellent chance we'll get the opportunity to meet!

Operations Manager

Hi, I’m Lia! I am the full time Operations Manager at The HaMac. I'm from New York originally, but moved to Iowa at 17 where I quickly fell in love with Cedar Rapids and the community! I’ve worked in the restaurant/hospitality industry for 10 years and after working at the first HarMac wedding as a bartender in 2020, I knew I wanted to do this everyday!

I love working with couples to customize the HarMac offerings to meet their needs and the many ways the venue compliments all different types of designs and styles. My fiancé and I recently welcomed our third baby boy, so when I'm not at work, I enjoy spending time with all of them! I also love spending time with friends and traveling to New York to visit family. Go Bills!!
